Urmila Dyola, PhD
Urmila Dyola is a distinguished biologist, specializing in the captivating field of entomology. With more than a decade of dedicated service as a faculty member, her impact on our college's academic landscape is immeasurable. Driven by an unwavering commitment to her students, she has received specialized training in A-level biology multiple times, ensuring her teaching remains at the forefront of excellence.
Beyond her role as an educator, Dr. Urmila is a prolific researcher who has significantly advanced our understanding of insects, pollination ecology, and biodiversity. Her work has earned her the coveted Gold Medal, a testament to her outstanding contributions to the field. She continues to inspire the next generation of biologists, leaving an enduring legacy as a mentor, scientist, and educator par excellence.

PhD. in Zoology (2023). Dissertation: Taxonomic Diversity and Community Structure of Insect Pollinators in Shivapuri- Nagarjun National Park, Central Nepal.

Master’s Degree in Zoology (2005-2007). Thesis: Survey on Simulium species (Diptera: Simuliidae) and abundance in relation with water quality at Lalitpur District.
